Manager will determine level based upon the selectedapplicant's skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this positionLocation:
This is a work from home positionbut does require the employee to live within 40 miles of an Anthem office.
Full-time, 40 hours a week, SalaryResponsible for developing and executing complexdata mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs toextract data.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and executes data mining analyses.
Uses SQL and or SAS programming languages toextract data.
Develops new and standard reports utilizing datawarehouse information.
Programs and writesqueries and reports.
Establishes and maintains strong knowledge ofdata warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, relatedprogramming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports data warehouse-relatedapplications for business areas requiring design and implementation of databasetables.
Conducts training on use of applicationsdeveloped.
Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA degree; or any combinationof education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
2-3 years' related analytical experience; PC,spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard BusinessInformation tools and database programming/query languages is also required.
The majority of time will be spent programmingcomplex data queries.
This job is focused on complex data mininganalysis.
Familiarity with healthcare claim data desired,but those in non-healthcare roles with strong SAS/SQL Developer skillsencouraged to applyAnthem,Inc.
