Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

SILVERQUARTER supports a globally distributed CNO infrastructure and mission management services. We work with our customers to develop tools, support 24x7x365 operations, and engineer systems for the remote operations center. SILVERQUARTER supports a spectrum of agile software development projects and an integrated set of diverse infrastructure projects that employ cutting-edge virtualization and cyber security technologies. ISSO
Job Description:
Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
Assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
Basic Qualifications
Individual be willing and able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance w/SSBI and SCI access
Five (5) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience in at least one (1) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
Desired skills
DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 1 or higher.
