Job Description
The task requires the candidate to 1) support production and operations within a remote operations center to include task and tool automation, vulnerability analysis, documentation, training, and development, 2) provide project management administrative support to the remote operations center to include the documentation of project plans, identifying resource requirements, and tracking milestone attainment, 3) gather, analyze, and provide operational metrics in support of the interactive workforce, intrusion detections, and defense of the network, 4) provide requirements management support to the remote operations center. He/she will be responsible for portfolio management and oversight of mission investments via client-specific tool and monitor projects regularly to assess their performance and contributions to strategic goals, and/or 5) provide scripting /capability development to operationalize and automate new or existing capabilities. He/she will collaborate with developers, analysts, infrastructure personnel, and other partner organizations to implement techniques and capabilities in the operational baseline.
The candidate shall:
a) Evaluate manually intensive operational processes and automate them through scripting and other code development. This may include data transfers, data entry, and metrics tracking.
b) Conduct vulnerability analysis on various web browsers using HTMl and/or XHTML, JavaScript, Cross Site Scripting, and reverse engineering
c) Serve as a principal project liaison to various organizations.
d) Perform scope management, identifying deltas between initial project scope and those efforts necessary to accomplish the project
e) Support both dynamic and static web content
f) Use operational metrics to detect network intrusions by processing information in a rapid fashion enabling quick responses
g) Identify and address requirement gaps, problems, or issues
h) Report monthly the status of each requirement
i) Provide digital network communications services to include internet routing and network analysis across various technology vectors Operating System platforms, the OSI model, private networks, protocol analysis, geo-locational information, web applications and current and emerging technology trends
j) Provide programming language services (C, C++, JAVA, Python, Ruby on Rails, etc) to support scripting and capability development of existing and new tools
k) Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
l) Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
m) Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
n) Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design n reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
) Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations

Basic Qualifications
Twenty (20) years experience as a System Engineer in full-life cycle programs encompassing infrastructure and system administration across multiple task orders.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
