Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating inventory disbursements from yard to contractor. Maintain records of all reels released to field and ensure proper tracking of returns. Provide reporting as required to demonstrate current inventory position and current supply chain position.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Interfaces with customer and contractor on material management issues.
Coordinates inventory disbursements from yard to contractor. Creates pick ticket / BOL identifying product and quantity leaving yard. Ships product to appropriately relieve inventory. Ensures material properly transfers from inventory system.
Utilizes handheld and SXe ERP to accurately receive materials from vendors into appropriate lay down yard. Validates material on BOL and matches PO and validates quantities.
Establishes processes and procedures for releasing material. Evaluates all processes and procedures utilized to support effort and suggests improvements to increase efficiency of operation. Ensures material properly transfers from inventory system.
Maintains records of all reels released to field and ensure proper tracking of returns. Coordinates material returns from the construction crews back to inventory as needed.
Conducts cycle counts to ensure on hand product matches inventory records. Reconciles all cycle count discrepancies with contractor and customer as needed.
Provides reporting as required to demonstrate current inventory position and current supply chain position.
Nature and Scope
May modify processes to resolve situations.
Under limited supervision, relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Course of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and policies. Work typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor or direct customers of the process.
Is sought out and/or assigned to provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support personnel. Contributes to employees professional development but does not have hiring/firing authority.
Work Environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending or squatting
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Technical certification or Associates degree may be required in some areas. Generally 5 to 7 years of experience in related area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with inventory control tracking systems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
