They are looking for a leader with a strong background in Underground Utilities and leading teams in the field.

Director of Operations
Responsibilities:


  • Developing and implementing and revising field operational policies and guidelines
  • Oversee the safety program:
    Delegate safety tasks to Superintendents, Work with Admin Specialist for scheduling Safety Team meetings and Job Site Visits
  • Working with the HR Department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs
  • Working with HR to develop and implement staff evaluations
  • Liaise with the departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide compliance and on-time delivery
  • Keep track of the company s revenue margins and conducting budget reviews to maximize profits
  • Overseeing client support services
  • Managing procurement and resource allocation
  • Develop process and procedures to streamline projects and give them a foundation for success
  • Developing and implementing and revising field operational policies and guidelines
  • Liaise with the departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide compliance and on-time delivery
  • Managing procurement and resource allocation
  • Other duties as assigned

Director of Operations
Qualifications:


  • 15 years' experience in the construction industry with 10 years in managerial roles, strong experience in Underground Utilities is highly preferred
  • Commercial General Contracting experience qualifies as long as the individual has required experience in Utilities
  • Four-year degree in engineering, construction management or business is preferred
  • Experiencing managing multiple teams in the field at a time
  • Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines
  • Team leader committed to training with a passion for helping team members reach their potential
  • Commitment to excellence and to do the right thing
