Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements to ensure appropriate financial and operational information is available for review.
2. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide management with definitive financial trends and advice for company improvements.
4. Maintain the general ledger by processing all company transactions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
5. Prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts based upon financial information compiled and analyzed.
6. Conduct revenue audits to ensure revenue recognition is in compliance with the company policy and GAAP.
7. Participate in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
8. Collaborate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
9. Identify and recommend updates to accounting operations, offering solutions to business and financial problems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of related experience in accounting or financial roles.
3. Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, financial analysis, and general ledger accounting.
4. Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting revenue audits.
5. Proficiency in month-end close procedures.
6. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
7. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel. Experience with other finance-related software is a plus.
8. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
9. Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
