Learning and Development Specialist

We are part of the leading international ground engineering firm, Keller Group, PLC based in the UK.
We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in our corporate office located in Hanover, MD or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for administering various learning and development initiatives, as well as planning and supporting several training programs (classroom, job site and e-learning offerings) and events across North America.
The Learning & Development Specialist is also responsible for the administration of our Learning Management System and online learning technologies (webinars, videos, etc.
,) This position will work closely with HR business partners, as well as internal subject matter experts to develop and deliver training that provides critical knowledge and skills necessary for employee talent development and strategic business growth.

Essential Functions:
Instructional Design Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop both technical and generalized content to support business needs Analyze, update and refine existing content Creation of both eLearning and video tutorial content Assist in the scheduling and planning of training programs, which may include:
Source and manage logistics (rooms, AV, catering, social events) with external venues Register class participants and coordinate travel arrangements Prepare and ship training materials Manage pre-work and post-work assignments / evaluations; post items and engage participants on virtual platforms Schedule briefing calls with participants and presenters Coordinate with internal and external facilitators Attend program to act as liaison with external venue Oversee administration and management of Learning Management System Create and manage eLearning courses Curate content from 3rd party vendors Troubleshoot and respond to technical issues Enroll participants and mark completions for classroom training Assign e-learning modules to learners Enter staff training records or external certifications Prepare monthly reporting on course completions and certificate expiry; other reports as needed Qualifications Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years of prior Learning and Development experience Proficiency/Familiarity with eLearning authoring software (Articulate360 a plus) Experience with design and delivery of systems training Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Self-motivated and results-oriented; a 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize / problem solve in an often-evolving environment Attention to detail and organization with a mindset for continuous improvement Ability to effectively communicate with management, staff, and suppliers while demonstrating sound judgment/ reasoning skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to travel required (Up to 20% of year) Preferred Skills:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
