Summary:
The Vice President, Information Technology (VP, IT) will provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide information technology (IT) program.
The VP, IT will lead the health plan in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations.
Additionally, the VP, IT:
Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the health plan.
Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization.
Oversees the back office computer operations of the affiliate management information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks.
Manages multiple information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, and office automation.
Designs, implements, and evaluates the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
Develops and implements user-training programs.
Ensures the system security of the health plan; oversees and evaluates system security, back up procedures, and disaster recovery.
Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the data analytics and data warehouse infrastructure and architecture.
Collaborates with the Data Officer, Chief Actuary /Informatics Leader, Finance and Clinical Informatics to ensure data needs, reporting tools and resources are aligned and available.
Manages the IT budget as it relates to administrative, capital and project expenses.
Attends regular leadership meeting with CIO JHHS and serves as the JHHC representative and liaison with JHHS IT.
Reporting RelationshipReports to the Chief Operating Officer for Johns Hopkins HealthCare and the Chief Information Officer of Johns Hopkins Health System.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
A Master's degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration, or related field is highly desirable.
Minimum of 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities for management and support of healthcare information systems and information technology, direct management of a major IT operation is preferred.
Significant experience in a health plan setting is desirable, specifically in technology and information systems planning to support business goals.
Experience should also include exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server environment.
Specific experience with population health systems (EPIC/Cerner), financial management and clinical management information systems is a plus.
General knowledge of business processes and their interrelationship gained through three or more years of related experience.
Business principles and techniques of administration, organization, and management to include an in- depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in the health care industry.
These include, but are not limited to, knowledge of strategic and operational planning, health care economics, personnel administration, federal, state and local laws, marketing, financial and cost analysis, trends in the health care industry.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
